Nanny State persecution killing democracy & free speech

Freedom of opinion and expression are enshrined within the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our rights and the democratic process are being demolished on a daily basis by the biased UK Establishment.

Here is the latest classic example...

This appalling situation is been perfectly highlighted, via the ongoing persecution, UK press misinformation campaign and social media blanket ban against Tommy Robinson. A large part of this autocratic censorship appears to have been related to Labour’s Tom Watson.

Mr Watson stated on Twitter

“I have written to Google CEO @SundarPinchai calling on him, as a matter of urgency, to remove the YouTube page of Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, aka Tommy Robinson.”

https://twitter.com/tom_watson/status/1101931566387941376

Mr Watson’s questionable complaint was seen by many people to be a highly transparent ruse to remove some seriously popular (and very rapidly expanding) political competition. Many have claimed it was a ploy to silence (censor) an independent candidate who was in danger of rocking the socialist boat.

Of course, denying any MEP candidate a vital social media platform was always going to destroy the other guy's attempt to share his message and ‘hey presto’ it worked like a charm.

Whether you love or hate Mr Robinson is NOT the major issue at hand. The main point is that if just one man/woman loses their right to speak freely then we are ALL under the cosh of state-run dictatorship. Consequently, Mr Watson is a significant left-wing cog in the officially-sanctioned propaganda machine to preserve orthodox spin on events and ban any form of dissent.

Alternatively, many extreme left-wing views and opinions are seemingly permitted on social media platforms and some are linked to violence and hate. We, however, do not see these accounts being removed very often – why? Apparently, when the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party clicks his heels, social media quickly jump like circus poodles and toe the line.

The UK Establishment and lapdog media have ultimately mounted a costly witch-hunt against Mr Robinson (a greatly-defamed man) and his family. The truth that he seeks to get out is seen by the mind-controllers as a threat to their power base, hence their very bizarre and totally unjustified ongoing persecution against him.

Schoolyard bully-boy type allegations against Robinson of “hate speech” have been widely discredited. He has openly given many defamers the opportunity to explain themselves and all have failed to support their misguided vilifications or simply resorted to traditional abuse or even violence.

Shall we see a decisive showdown (legal rather than bar room) between Robinson and his accuser, Watson one day?

Apparently, our democratic right to express fair-minded criticism of any fundamentalist religious credo or political ideology is now being denied and censored by the UK’s overseers as alleged ‘hate speech’.

The UK government, national press and social media are all happily abusing their powers and regulations against their undemocratic conduct of persecution are urgently required. This misuse of organised authority clearly breaches our human rights and opens the floodgates to future tyranny.

The UK establishment is abusing its powers against its own citizens today and this is an affront to our human rights and ability to speak out as free people. This disgusting situation gives real extremists a golden opportunity to suck up to the unrepresentative media and promote their own biased agendas.

For my own part, I have spoken out and written about the disturbing nature of fundamentalism within the large organised Abrahamic faith systems for years.

https://pat-regan.blogspot.com/2019/04/the-devil-gods-best-friend.html

When British people lose the ability to criticise creeping fundamentalism, due to fear of upsetting overly sensitive adherents of ANY ideology, we stop living in a true democracy.

When the UK's citizens are censored from denouncing brutality and inequality within faith systems (for fear of breaching so-called hate laws) we are on course to turn our democracy into a pious dictatorship, run by self-righteous priesthoods.

Do we really want to return to having to face officialised death threats (fatwas), like the one sanctioned against the Satanic Verses author Salman Rushdie?

Rushdie was forced to spend years in hiding under police protection after the fatwa was issued in 1989. The death threat against that man is still live. Forty state-run Iranian media outlets have conjointly offered a new $600,000 reward for the death of Salman Rushdie, according to the state-run Fars News Agency.

Are the UK's cock-eyed establishment and censorship-mad media today in favour of fatwas against people who use their democratic right to say or write what they feel strongly about?

The befuddled idiots (the real extremists in our midst) who are currently running the latest witch hunt against Robinson should realise that they cannot have their cake and eat it. If they value their right to freedom of opinion and expression then they must be prepared to extend the same courtesy to others.

Where this does biased censorship end? Consider the following…

Brunei, a Muslim-majority former British protectorate with a population of 400,000, has defended its right to implement harsh Sharia Law that punishes sodomy, adultery and rape with the death penalty,  by stoning, and theft with amputation.

Rachel Chhoa-Howard, an Amnesty International's Brunei researcher, recently said:

"Brunei must immediately halt its plans to implement these vicious punishments and revise its penal code in compliance with its human rights obligations. The international community must urgently condemn Brunei's move to put these cruel penalties into practice."

In London, many people have understandably protested at this Islamic human rights barbarity.

So, will we now see the self-righteous puppet newspapers and left-wing pushed establishment sources screaming words used against Mr Robinson like ‘Nazi’ or ‘racist’ in the faces of the London protesters or at Amnesty International's human right's concerns?

Would they have banned Winston?

How about Britain's greatest war leader, Winston Churchill? Would he have got himself banned from social media platforms - under absurd 'hate speech' regulations - for comments like this?

Can you see how pathetically the Nanny State-controlled media is conducting itself today in the UK?

How ludicrous the situation is today; Robinson has done nothing worse than warn others about the real dangers of religious extremism and predict events of barbarity, as we can now expect in states run by religious fundamentalists. Is this not exactly what Churchhill was warning about many years ago?

It seems that questionable political agendas are calling all the shots in the UK today and many people are finding out that the nature of real democracy is little more than a carefully crafted illusion.

Our capability for free expression in Britain has been drastically destabilised, thanks to the combined forces of political and religious extremism, posing as the greater good, that clandestinely directs the easily - led media to do its bidding.

British democracy is under serious threat today and only a strong public, with the will to preserve our rights, can save it.

Do you know who the REAL racists are? Formal investigation launched into Labour antisemitism

Labour activists have been quick to yell ‘Racist’ or ‘Nazi’  at anyone who disagreed with them,  yet now the boot is firmly on the other foot with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) investigating them for abuse against Jews.

Extreme left-wing activity has been influential in creating anti-establishment violence on many occasions too and in numerous countries. Oddly, in many instances, the UK's biased media have turned a blind eye to it all.

Today we discovered that Labour is now facing an investigation into antisemitism by the EHRC. Long-term critic Dame Margaret Hodge accused leader Jeremy Corbyn of "unforgivable" behaviour for "leading the party down this path".

She also blew a hole in Mr Corbyn's leaky ship on her Twitter pages (28/5/2019), with the following quip, aimed at Mr Corbyn's cheerleaders and antisemitism deniers...

'For those still in denial about why the EHRC is investigating Labour here's a helpful reminder:
Dozens of complaints sat on & ignored
Complainants left in the dark
Political interference in complaints
High profile complaints fudged
Appointment of Complaints Chief a stitch up
/1'

'No duty of care to Jewish members, cllrs, MPs
Toxic & bullying culture at local meetings
Tidal wave of online abuse
No antisemitism training for Labour complaints team
No antisemitism training for local parties
Culture of denial & acceptability from the leadership
That's why. /2'

The EHRC had previously initiated a preliminary investigation after it received a dossier of Jew-hate by members from the Jewish Labour Movement (JLM) and the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA). The Labour party's feeble response failed to dissuade it from opening a wider investigation.

Therefore, when the dismissive Labour comrades in denial start shouting their traditional abuse at other people, like Tommy Robinson, they should perhaps recall that old saying:

People that live in glass houses should not throw stones.
