The billionaires’ pin up puppet crows again…Tax cuts for a mega rich, bigger bonuses for wealthy bankers, etc.
The ‘richest donate to the Party so we will look after them’ is the thinly veiled clarion call to the Party Faithful! The elite’s darling ‘Queen of U-turns’ is no friend to the ordinary subject (not citizen) in the street. And yes, Another inept PM who surrounds herself with grovelling sycophants. Interesting times ahead for sure!
Truss’s policies seem to align so well with the following…
"Let them eat cake" is the customary interpretation of the French phrase "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche", said to have been spoken in the 17th or 18th century by "a great princess" ((probably Marie-Thérèse and not Marie-Antoinette) upon being informed that the peasants had no bread to eat. The quote is taken to suggest either the princess's thoughtless contempt for the starving peasants or her poor understanding of their predicament.
The most vulnerable people in our society are basically cannon fodder for this ruthless Tory regime - yet sales in Rolls Royce and Ferrari etc may increase significantly.
YouGov reported that Truss already has a reputation for being ‘out of touch with ordinary people’. Moreover, just 12% of Britons expect Liz Truss to be a great or good prime minister, with half (52%) expecting her to be poor or terrible.
Obviously, rich bankers etc with Porsches and Bentleys in the garage will be keeping their fingers tightly crossed that the majority of Britons have got it all wrong!
Reports indicate that more than 1 million more people will be forced into deprivation this winter, pushing UK poverty levels to their highest for two decades.
Time for more earthquakes thanks to Liz and Co …
Meanwhile, The UK government has today lifted the 2019 suspension on fracking – a contentious method of extracting shale gas from deep beneath the earth.
Many tremors were recorded following the last Cuadrilla flop.
https://pat-regan.blogspot.com/2018/11/blackpool-fracking-12-tremors-no-now.html
To highlight this latest example of growing Truss stupidity the founder of fracking company Cuadrilla recently stated that fracking won’t work in the UK.
Chris Cornelius says that our geology is too challenging and that this government’s support is merely ‘soundbites’. He also stated that fracking will not help with the energy price crisis and is just a political gesture!
Ah well - stupid is as stupid does - but the Truss camp is taking it to a new level of absurdity!
