Mass censorship renders governments as an historically demonstrable threat to the population, by creating the capacity for state intimidation and restrictions of our freedoms.
It all starts in small hardly noticeable ways. Nevertheless, the official momentum soon picks up fast and before we know it, we are all well-controlled automatons, doing exactly as we are told - without question.
When Nanny State governments blackmail the people, the potential for fair and logical dissent is eventually crushed. Folks lose their essential liberty to speak out as they please as they become fearful of increased restrictions and punishments from a regime that does not welcome specific opinions.
Of course, this bureaucratic hammer against our freedoms is almost always originated after the authorities gain some type of moral high ground. This moral platform, no matter how questionable, must be protected at all costs and this is precisely why their censorship against any contradictory opinion is essential to maintain their corrupt power base.
Consequently, in the name of public protection, governmental censorship jeopardises the very human rights which they are meant to defend.
Do you feel that your right to free speech is being suppressed?
Are you reluctant to express your opinions in public?
Is your government inadvertently blackmailing YOU into keeping your mouth shut and towing its line!
In a nutshell, dictatorial governments that routinely violate our basic human right to free speech are traditionally a danger to, and not a protector of, the people they are supposed to defend.
