Pat Regan: UFO incidents in Southport 2025

For the record, this is just a brief blog to mark the recent UFOs seen in Southport. I shall add to it if and when necessary.

This first one was witnessed on 22nd March 2025 over Woodvale.

The next one was spotted by my wife and I in broad daylight flying over Kew in Southport on 11th May 2025. It was very high and flew against the prevailing breeze.

My son Jason also saw the next one with me over Ainsdale on 14 May 2025.

It was silent.
There was no wind.
It travelled (we think) at an altitude of around 1000 feet or lower.
It was white with no flashing aviation lights.
I was zoomed in and lost then found the object after a few shaky seconds.
I checked Flight Radar as soon as I stopped filming and there was nothing in the vicinity at that time.

We have no firm conformation as to what the UFOs witnessed above at this time actually were.

I reiterate that this list may be extended if additional UFO activity is recorded. I should also add that similar activity has also been highlighted to me over Skelmersdale and the Wirral area too.

NB: Sadly, it was too late for these sightings to make it into the latest UFO book, which hit the shelves this year, but perhaps these may be addressed in a future volume...
