I was calmly smoking a bowl of Condor at my back doorstep last night, while watching the clear eastern night’s sky.
It was quite cold and felt like frost. An owl cried in the poplar trees and there was no wind to stir the branches.
My attention was fixed mainly of one particularly bright star/planet (possibly Jupiter), which was visible as I was looking towards the east facing the direction of Ormskirk.
Suddenly, what I would describe as a bright yellow object rushed across the sky moving from my right at a downward angle of about 20 degrees, to the left of my position. This was therefore travelling very fast from the south to the north east.
I noted that the yellow object was visible for about 2 to 3 seconds and moved at immense speed. It may have been a shooting star/meteor or space debris, or something else entirely. Sady, on this occasion I was unable to get any video footage or a photo.

I make no claim over the identity of this particular UFO and add this report in case anyone else witnessed the same thing last night.
