What Nick Pope said regarding the lack of UFO reports is so true:

“Another factor is that, following the closure of the MoD’s UFO desk in 2009, there’s no focal point for the public to make reports.”

“Thus, we get the false impression that there are very few reports, because they’re spread thinly: some witnesses still report to the MoD, others to the police, some to the media, others to civilian UFO groups.”

This was an issue some years ago that I warned about.

Shock in the UFO community as the MoD’s UFO investigation service shuts down.

Reports filtered into the press on December 4th, 2009, explaining that the Ministry of Defence has stopped investigating reported sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the UK.

A telephone number and email address which allowed the public to report sightings for examination was closed on 1 December after the MoD decided the service was an "inappropriate use of defence resources.”

I also reiterate on what I stated previously.

Since that time back in 2009 we still have unknown flying objects (UFOs) moving through our air space. So far so good yet one day we may pay the price for the MoD ‘s apathetic decision to dismiss this situation.
