Aintree’s fun – filled horse killing festival
Fun, sport and just a nice bit of fun - or a vile barbaric event that needs sending back to the Dark Ages fast, like bear or badger baiting and organised dog fights?
The wonderful horses that died for man’s profit and pleasure
RIP - Envoye Special, Hill Sixteen, Dark Raven.
May the happy punters, who keep this disgusting national disgrace alive, enjoy their blood money winnings. The unfortunate horses who died for race goers' ’ bit of fun’ will not be seeing any more sunrises over their stables.
The RSPCA stated that it would “urgently call” on the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) to review the circumstances of each of the deaths “so that we never again exit a ‘festival of racing’ with three dead horses”.
