Laughing boy Matt Hancock is now running around like a headless chicken. He’s apparently seeking to intimidate any care worker into a questionable medical procedure that they may not want, or potentially sack them if they fail to tow his one-sided line on compulsory vaccination.
Anyone who feels strongly about getting any type of vaccine should of course be free to do so. However, the same liberty must be given to people who wish to say 'no' to vaccination, without fear of discrimination or losing their livelihood.
It's hard enough for struggling care homes to even find staff these days (plus the hardship of the job and poor wages), without such disrespectable discrimination from self-seeking politicians like Handcock.
With one imperial flick of his wrist he can now take away the essential jobs of thousands of precious care / health workers who stand fast against his cherry-picking diktat!
Taking away free choice is a very dangerous and unwise step for any government to undertake. This is one fact that history testifies to so well!
Recent examples of Tory in-fighting, name-calling and bitchcraft must also cast serious doubts on this current regime, even within the hallowed ranks of the Party Faithfull.
A petition to challenge Hancock’s incredibly despicable discrimination and Nazi-like attack on UK liberty is currently ongoing.
Vaccinated but it did not work?
Whoops! In other parts, health workers who have been vaccinated are not too happy after hundreds contracted Covid – 19 after their shots.
JAKARTA, June 17 (Reuters) - More than 350 doctors and medical workers have caught COVID-19 in Indonesia despite being vaccinated with Sinovac and dozens have been hospitalised, officials said, as concerns grow about the efficacy of some vaccines against more infectious variants.
Most of the workers were asymptomatic and self-isolating at home, said Badai Ismoyo, head of the health office in the district of Kudus in central Java, but dozens were in hospital with high fevers and falling oxygen-saturation levels.
The bumbling UK government is leading our nation down a dark tunnel of censorship, fear and intimidation. Signs are not good.
Our liberties are severely under threat today and it seems that many people are just sitting back and allowing this outrage to happen.
What part of society will this new and frightening UK Tory regime move against next?
