SEFTON’S SCROOGE COUNCIL LEAVES AINSDALE RESIDENTS WITH OVER-FLOWING BINS AT XMAS

Residents in a Sandbrook Road area were dismayed to discover that bins and bottles etc have not been collected as promised by Sefton Council.

Although the main road had been collected, this cul-de-sac was clearly missed out.

Stickers on bins and advice on the council website clearly stated that bins etc were due to be collected on 24th December.

Residents left them out as advised yet it’s now Xmas Day and they are all stuck with rubbish overflowing.

So what went wrong and how long do residents have to wait before the bins are emptied?

Were other Southport areas left out or was this a ‘one off’?
