RESULT! PEOPLE POWER PAYS OFF AT LAST

Victory! At last, repairs for the dilapidated fence on Woodvale’s Sandbrook Way Precinct have started

One Vision Housing had promised that the repair would happen after hard and relentless campaigning, and blogging herein, from us and Ainsdale’s Cllr Haydn Preece.

Above: I nipped around last night (8 May 2014) to checkout the repair. It 's brilliant news for the elderly residents of the area that the fence repair has started.

Regardless of obstructive Conservative blocking tactics for badly needed improvements by Cllrs Terry Jones and Ted Hartill this marks a good start and immediately assists in helping the area look better.

Thanks to One Vision Housing for getting on with the work, at last, lets hope more action happens soon. 

We shall continue to push for improvements, regardless of absurd Tory blocks.
