Southport Coast Guard Officer, Paul Harrison, comes out in support of Cath Regan; long - time local health and social campaigner.

Paul stated on Facebook:

"Nationally I would not vote for Cons/libs but on a local issue I would vote Cons, Cathy gets things done, unlike some."

This is an honest and accurate quote. Many people feel disenchanted with politics on a national basis but prefer to rely on the candidate they 'know' who will get the job done and be there to address local concerns, when needed most.

Cath has been campaigning for many years on various issues and long before she was invited into politics.

Cath is also Co-Chair of CARES, the cross-party hospital campaign pressure group.
