The Petition to help save Ainsdale woodland from Sefton Council and One Vision Housing destruction, has been presented to working Ainsdale councillors.
Cllr Lynne Thompson stated:
“Pleased to say this petition is now with Planning and site visit called in last year still stands.”
The Petition has been signed by 424 (jumped up to 426 since delivery) concerned people who strongly oppose the proposed destruction of this thriving wildlife habitat in George Drive Ainsdale. Some residents have also written into the Council's planning department with valid objections against this ecologically- unsound development proposal.
Sefton Council and One Vision Housing (OVH) must not destroy this green lung of the Aindsale community.
Questions remain regarding why our wonderful green spaces are being wrecked everywhere and some councillors are expressing serious concerns about the 'hidden agenda' and validity behind such authoritarian eco-vandalism.
So - will you fight to save OUR countryside or just shake your head and walk away?
