But what about me and my kind? 




So, you want to build your business centres, cheap houses, car show rooms and dirty factories on that little piece of land, which you call wasteland and scrub.

You want to level the small green spaces where we rest and feed and turn them into a sea of concrete and metal! 

But what about me and my kind? Are we worthless - do we count for nothing in your profit-ridden eyes? 

You call it progress - I call it devastation!

    Couldn't agree with you more Pat. This kind of thoughtless devastation; driven by greed and ignorance is, sadly, echoed throughout our country. Some days it drives me to the edge of despair.
