River Yarrow: Soaked to the skin, but very happy...
I managed to get a bit of dry fly sport before the heavens opened up and then I spent an hour under the trees, waiting for the rain to ease up.
It just threw it down none stop and I got totally soaked to the skin.
The river rose about 3 inches in that hour.
Brilliant, total living and total hands-on dry fly experience…
There is 'no' other way.............!
Nice chubby brown trout! They are fat little buggers out of the yarrow...
ReplyDeleteI looked at the ribble/yarrow this morning yesterdays rain has put it up 3 foot so it may be further north for me..just put some feelers out for the eden...
